For the melamine tableware automatic edger developed by SHUNHAO, many interesting stories happened to our customers. What I am sharing today is a story that happened between Shunhao and S boss of a large melamine tableware factory in B country.

Every time SHUNHAO develops a new type of machine, it will take the initiative to publicize and explain to old customers to help them improve production efficiency or solve the problem of labor shortage. During this period, we met a very interesting boss, S boss.

1. First impression– Misunderstanding happens

When the first batch of automatic edge polishing machines arrived at the factory, S boss is in his office.

• After we installed the machine in the factory and conducted on-site training that day, the workers of the factory reported to S boss that this automatic edger was not easy to use and could not match the speed of manual working.
• We haven't figured out what's going on yet. S Boss is very unhappy. What S Boss said made us even more embarrassed. He said "Shelly, please move this machine and sell to other factories here, we do not need this "slow machine"

Obviously, S boss was really angry at that moment. He felt that the machine was not worth buying.

2. Seeing is believing - misunderstanding resolved

• We were stunned but we still believe that it is definitely a good improvement to replace manual labor because the automated equipment is developed with precise calculation and research.
• We tried to let S Boss calm down first “ We measure the speed and check the quality of edging on the spot. If the requirements are not met, we can remove the automatic edging machine at any time.”

S Boss agreed and ordered the staff to move a chair and sit in front of the automatic edger machine.

When our technicians conduct a thorough inspection, the machine starts to run automatically.

1) First, we started testing round plates, 5 pieces per minute, 8 pieces per minute, 11 pieces per minute; OK, PASS.

2) Then we started testing oval plates and trays.

3) 3 hours later, S boss looked very excited to see the good result: “GOOD, SHELLY. VERY GOOD MACHINE! WE NEED MORE AUTOMATIC GRINDING MACHINES”

In the summer, in the high temperature workshop, S Boss sat for 3 hours and personally confirmed the good benefits brought by the automatic edger.

These 3 hours, for him, are very worth the sweat for good results.

The workshop is no longer full of semi-finished products, and workers do not have to sit hard on chairs and repeat the same action. An automatic edger can serve well.

3. Win-win result

• This cooperation with S Boss not only helped him solve a large number of machine aging problems and update large-scale machines, but also helped him solve and optimize some problems in production, increasing productivity by 30%.
• Up to now, there are more than 10 automatic grinding machines working in that factory, and there will be more machines in the future.

This is one of the true stories that happened in SHUNHAO. We also feel very happy because solving problems for customers is the development goal of SHUNHAO!
