1. Design Stage

The journey begins with the design stage. Here, careful thought goes into determining the types of dinnerware to be produced, such as plates, saucers, bowls, or serving platters. Factors like depth, width, and overall appearance are considered either.

To facilitate the design process, Shunhao Factory uses advanced software that assists in selecting the appropriate colors and patterns for the dinnerware. This software also generates 3D representations, used to create casting molds for the final products. During this creative stage, the emphasis is on using appealing thematic colors and cohesive patterns.

2. Production Stage

After the design has been finalized, the production phase commences. Melamine, a high-quality resin, is the primary material used. Unlike other plastics, once molded, melamine permanently retains its shape.

Shunhao Factory uses a hydraulic press to shape the melamine plates. These presses generate immense pressure, capable of exerting up to 300 tons molding machine of force with a single push. The melamine powder compound is placed in the mold, and the top part of the mold is pressed down by the hydraulic press. Under this tremendous pressure, the resin is formed and transformed into a solid state, without the need for excessive heat.

When the hydraulic press is lifted, the result is a solid and glossy melamine plate or bowl, perfectly molded into the desired shape.

3. Adding the Finishing Touches

Once the melamine plates have reached their final cured state, they undergo additional treatments to enhance their appearance and safety. Some plates have pigments mixed into the melamine during the production process, resulting in plates with solid colors. However, for plates requiring special designs or patterns, food-safe paints are applied and then glazed for added safety.

At this stage, the melamine dinnerware is ready for use. These products are lightweight, sturdy, and built to last, ensuring many years of enjoyment for those who use these exquisite plates and drinkware items.
