When consumers use melamine tableware, they should pay close attention to the possible migration of harmful substances into the food. Here are some useful suggestions.
1. When the newly purchased melamine tableware is used, it will dissolve a large amount of free formaldehyde and melamine, therefore, it is recommended that the new melamine tableware should be used after repeated soaking for more than 3 times in a food simulant solution at an appropriate temperature (50°C~70°C), and used after each soaking time of 2~3hours.
2. Consumers should try to avoid using sharp objects such as steel wire balls during the cleaning process to prevent scratches; strong acid and strong alkali detergents should not be used to avoid damaging the surface structure of melamine tableware.
3. Try to avoid using high temperature, strong acid and other methods to sterilize; prohibit microwave heating; try to avoid containing acidic food with a temperature greater than 70 ℃, and freshly fried food; do not heat the food on the steamer.
4. Try to avoid using melamine tableware to hold and store food for a long time.
5. Remember the shelf life and purchase date of melamine tableware. After the expiration date or when there are obvious scratches, replace it in time.
